A little more about the course

Our beginners’ course aims to equip you with confidence in the basic skills needed in the day-to-day role of a bespoke tailor.  You will be taught poise and posture when beginning each new skill, so that you can truly reach your potential as a bespoke maker.

We will also introduce you to the trade itself, explaining the working structure of how a bespoke tailored garment is created from start to finish as well as some introduction to several bespoke companies in our industry.

Upon completion you will have:

. A stitch library (containing all stitches).

. A Canvas sample, which is the foundation of a bespoke coat.

. Pocket samples.

. Several working samples from practicing your stitches on the correct canvas and cloth.

. A working Journal.

. Clarity in understanding the industry & how it ticks.

. Answers to any questions you may ask us.
