Mike, Senior Bespoke Cutter for Huntsman, Savile Row.
Mike trained on Savile Row, completing his cutting apprenticeship at No.1 Savile Row, Gieves & Hawkes, under the guidance of Nina Penlington, where he built a strong technical foundation in pattern drafting, fitting and the finer points of bespoke construction.
He went on to become Head Cutter at Oliver Brown, where he forged a reputation for craft, quality and contemporary tailoring, overseeing the department's work and helping define its distinct character and house style.
Since joining the team at Huntsman at the start of 2024, he has continued to apply his passion for cutting, bringing a thoughtful, client focused approach to every garment he creates. For Mike, cutting is never a formulaic process, it's about understanding the individual in front of him and translating that understanding into shape and silhouette. Always striving to be a diligent custodian of the craft and dedicated to upholding the traditions of Savile Row, he remains curious and open to new ways of mastering his trade.
